Hannah Hook is DTN Alumni and will soon start an Assistant Professor position of Sustainable Land Use and Transport Planning in the Department of the Built Environment at Aalto University, Finland. She completed her PhD and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University, and previously completed two Master’s degrees in GIS Technology (University of Arizona ) and Sustainable Cities (King’s College London) and two Bachelor’s degrees in Sustainability and Business Communications (Arizona State University). Her research focuses on the role of discretionary and undirected travel in promoting well-being, travel satisfaction, and transport equity. Hannah’s work bridges mobility behaviour, the built environment, and social sustainability.
