Getting to Lisbon
By air
Lisbon international airport (Humberto Delgado Airport) connects the world with the city and has a direct connection to its transportation system, through the metro red line.
By train
Lisbon has two main stations for long distance services. Despite not having direct connections with foreign countries, if you come from anywhere in Portugal you can get here by picking a train with destination Lisboa Santa Apolónia if you come from the north or Lisboa Oriente if you come from the south. Both stations are connected to the metro network and urban railway services.
By bus
An alternative to get to Lisbon are the long distance buses, covering Portugal mainland, Spain and even France. At Lisbon, they get to Sete Rios or Gare do Oriente. Both stations are connected to the metro network.
